Product Design Intern
This internship is designed for a talented, curious designer who wants to grow fast inside a real AI product environment. You will work directly alongside our team to design interfaces, assets, and user flows for our client-facing automation products and our own internal platforms. This is not a coffee-and-admin internship — you will ship real work.
Role Details
What You Will Own
This role is designed for someone who wants practical ownership, direct client impact, and the room to build systems that continue running long after launch.
Design UI screens, components, and interaction flows for web and mobile automation products
Create visual assets, icons, and branded materials for client deliverables and the Velyon website
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation
Contribute to the Velyon brand system — typography, colour, spacing, component library
Participate in client feedback sessions and iterate quickly on designs
Research competitor UX patterns and bring fresh ideas to the team
Required Experience
What You Bring
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills (student or personal projects accepted)
- Proficiency in Figma
- Understanding of design fundamentals: layout, typography, colour theory, hierarchy
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and iterate fast
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
What Helps You Stand Out
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or component-based design systems
- Interest in AI products, automation tools, or SaaS interfaces
- Experience with motion design or Lottie animations
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
