Lead Workflow Architect
As Lead Workflow Architect, you will own the technical architecture of Velyon's most complex client automation systems. You will set the standards for how we build, structure, and scale our automation infrastructure — leading the engineering team and ensuring every solution we deliver is robust, maintainable, and production-ready.

What You Will Own
This role is designed for someone who wants practical ownership, direct client impact, and the room to build systems that continue running long after launch.
Architect scalable, enterprise-grade automation systems across n8n, custom APIs, and cloud infrastructure
Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to map and blueprint complex workflows
Define and enforce engineering standards, documentation practices, and QA processes across the team
Mentor junior engineers and oversee code and workflow reviews
Design data flow architectures connecting multiple systems (CRM, ERP, WhatsApp, AI models, databases)
Collaborate with the solutions and business team to scope and estimate new projects accurately
Evaluate and introduce new tools, platforms, and AI capabilities into the Velyon stack
Required Experience
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience building production automation or integration systems
- Deep expertise in n8n, Zapier, Make, or equivalent — including self-hosted infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and data transformation
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from discovery to delivery
Nice to Have

- Background in DevOps or containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Previous experience in an agency or consulting environment
- Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance requirements
