AI Automation Specialist
As our AI Automation Specialist, you will be at the core of what Velyon delivers. You will design, build, and deploy intelligent workflow automations for clients across industries — using tools like n8n, OpenAI APIs, and WhatsApp Business API. You will translate complex client pain points into clean, scalable automation pipelines that run 24/7 without human intervention.
Role Details
What You Will Own
This role is designed for someone who wants practical ownership, direct client impact, and the room to build systems that continue running long after launch.
Design and build end-to-end automation workflows using n8n and custom code
Integrate AI models (OpenAI, LLMs) into client-facing automation pipelines
Connect and manage APIs including WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, Shopify, CRMs, and more
Collaborate with clients and the solutions team to map workflows and identify automation opportunities
Test, monitor, and optimise deployed automations for reliability and performance
Document all automation architectures clearly for client handover and internal reference
Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI tooling, LLMs, and no-code/low-code platforms
Required Experience
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with n8n, Make (Integromat), or similar automation platforms
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data structures
- Familiarity with OpenAI API and prompt engineering fundamentals
- Basic scripting ability in JavaScript or Python
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills — ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients
Nice to Have

- Experience with WhatsApp Business API or Twilio
- Exposure to voice AI platforms (Vapi, ElevenLabs)
- Understanding of CRM systems and sales automation
- Previous client-facing or agency experience
